Ancient Greece

I really enjoy and love learning about prehistoric empires. Greece is very interesting, I would really love to visit Greece someday. There is a voluminous amount of deities and divinity’s the Greeks believe in. I am now going to tell you some of them.
First, I am going to tell you about Greek mythology. There are 14 gods and goddess,7 boys and 7 girls. Zeus is the god of all other gods and of Mount Olympus. Poseidon is another god in Greek mythology, He is the god of the sea. Apprhrodite is the god of love and beauty. Hestia is a virgin goddess and is goddess of family, architecture, and Hearth. Next, another goddess is Persephone who is the queen of the underworld and married to Hades.Hades is the god of the Underworld and the dead. Some more gods and goddess are, Athena goddess of wisdom and battle strategy, Ares god of war and hatred, Hebe goddess of the youth, and Apollo god of prophecy and the sun. All the countries of Greece believed in these gods. There were many countries like Athens, Macedon, Thrace, and Sparta.
There were many countries who always fought for Greece, but Macedon was the only one who ever went on to conquer other areas of the world like Egypt, India, and Europe. The king for Macedon was Alexander the Great who died in his early 30's. Another great power was Sparta, also known as the Spartans. They fought countries like Athens, Rome, and and the Persian Empire. 300 Spartans killed about 500,000 Persians in a 3 day long battle led by their king, Leonidas. The Spartans were later killed, thousands of Spartans came and threw the Persians out of Greece and were praised by everyone else in Greece.
Next, I am going to tell you about some very interesting facts about Greece. One of them is that at the Roanoke Greek festival all the cooks have to cook everything from scratch. Another thing is that the ancient Athenians were the first to develop a democracy. The Athenian children slept in wicker baskets until they are 7-years-old.
Greece was an ancient advancement. It is really interesting to learn about Greece and it's inhabitants. They have a rich and very interesting history. I learned many things about them and found that I like them a lot. I love Greece and can't wait to learn about the Chinese civilization.

All About the Gospel

Heavenly Father made a plan, the plan is called the plan of salvation. In the premortal life, Heavenly Father came up with this plan. The scriptures define it as the "Plan of Salvation". Now, I am going to start talking more about what this plan was made for. (Read the following scriptures for more information: Alma 24:14; Moses 6:62, Alma 42:8, Jacob 6:8, Alma 12:30 and Alma 42:15.)

The "Plan of Salvation" includes the following things: the creation, the fall, the atonement, all of the laws, ordinances and doctrines of the Gospel. Another part to the "Plan of Salvation" is moral agency and the ability to act and choose for ourselves. The atonement was were Jesus bled through every pore and prayed. He did this because he loves us so much that he wanted us to be able to live with him again. It was also so we could repent when we make a mistake.

Because of this wonderful plan, we can be perfected through the atonement. We also could receive the fullness of joy. We can be a family forever if you are married and sealed in the temple as a family forever. You can live forever in the presence of God forever. If your married and sealed in the temple, your family's relationships can last forever.

Remember to get married and sealed in the temple if you want to be a family forever. Jesus wants all of us to get married there and go inside there. He wants all of us to get married there and get sealed to our kids. He also wants all of us to have kids to be sealed to and care for. So, I hope that can happen to all of you that decide to read this. I also wish everyone else could do this to.

I hope you have learned a lot from this essay. I spent a lot of time taking a lot of time and effort into this. Hope this brings the spirit to you. So, I hope you can all begin teaching others about this. This is also probably the most important part of the Gospel.
